We know the value of an amazing therapist. Conversely, many teens have told us of the negative impact of a poorly trained or new therapist. With this in mind, we have scoured the Denver Metro area to create a team of the highest quality clinicans with a broad range of clinical tools. Furthermore, our Teen Trauma Therapy program offers the highest quality trauma therapy in the Denver Metro area for your teens.
Just as not all people are the same, our therapy program has been designed to offer a range of options. Additionally, each teen will be different and thus we offer multiple types of therapy. Furthermore, with some therapies proven for different conditions, we offer a wide variety of therapists and therapies.
Our Clinical Focus Pillars are:
- Safety:
- Safety is our #1 goal. We know that if our teens do not feel safe with us, it wont matter what types of therapy we offer. Additionally, our entire space has been custom designed with safety and healing in mind.
- Skills Based:
- We have seen that more than any other service we can provide, giving our teens the skills they can use on a daily basis to remain grounded is the most important service we can offer.
- Trauma Integrated:
- All of our services have been reviewed by some of the top therapists in the region. Additionally, we have audited every inch of our program to ensure that we exceed the most recent best practices of trauma integrated care.

Some of the Specialized Therapies offered:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a highly effective approach widely used in the treatment of teen mental health issues. It focuses on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, helping teens develop healthier thinking patterns and responses. Furthermore, by working with negative thoughts, CBT empowers teens to gain insight into their feelings and equips them with coping skills. Additionally, CBT is particularly effective in treating common conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and eating disorders. Lastly, this teen trauma therapy provides teens with skills to manage stress, regulate emotions, problem solve, and challenge unhelpful beliefs.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a therapy approach aimed at treating a range of emotional struggles and self-destructive behaviors. DBT combines elements of CBT techniques with mindfulness practices to promote emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and self-acceptance. It empowers teens to develop a nonjudgmental and accepting attitude toward themselves while working toward positive change and personal growth. DBT has proven to be highly effective in addressing issues such as self-harm, suicidal thoughts, substance use, and struggles in relationship. It is effective in helping teens build resilience and improve their overall well-being.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR focuses on the processing and resolution of painful memories or traumatic experiences that add to emotional difficulties. This therapy uses elements of cognitive therapy, exposure therapy, and bilateral brain stimulation, such as eye movements or taps, to stimulate the brain’s natural healing processes. By using bilateral stimulation and focused attention, EMDR helps teens reprocess traumatic memories, alleviate emotional distress, and promote healing and resilience. It has shown remarkable success in treating PTSD, anxiety disorders, phobias, and other trauma related conditions.
Experiential Therapies
Experiential Therapy does more than just talk. We know the value of engaging teens in therapy in ways that they feel empowered and bought-in to the process. We have brought together a number of forms of teen trauma therapy in which we deliver an experience to the participant while doing therapy. This can be in the form of equine therapy, wilderness therapy, psychodrama, etc.
