Avanti Behavioral Healths Teen Residential Treatment program is designed for teens with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. These include anxiety, depression and trauma, etc.

Additionally, according to Results from the 2021 National Survey on Drug Use and Health over 2 million teens between the ages of 12-17 needed substance abuse treatment. Teen Residential Treatment programs are live-in health facilities. Furthermore, these programs provide daily therapy, group therapy, activities and other recovery related supports. Most teens report being grateful they went to residential treatment.

Residential treatment programs are designed for teens who struggle while living in the home. Furthermore, treatment generally focuses on assessments, skill building, and discharge planning. Finally, all centers are required to perform many assessments on each person coming into the program.

We offer a series of assessments that look at many things. Some include substance history, mental health conditions, family systems, trauma, suicidal thoughts, depression, ADHD and many others. Our belief is that good treatment starts with a robust assessment and treatment planning process.

Next, once the assessment is complete, treatment shifts to building the treatment plan. Each treatment plan is created for each client based on their needs. The plan can include practical recovery tools, skill building, therapy and more. We offer a holistic services that allow each teen to find the tools that will work for them.

Lastly, discharge plan starts at the time of admission. We know that the journey of recovery is just starting when someone comes into treatment. Our team will work with you and your family to find a long-term support once residential treatment is complete.
