Our intensive outpatient program (IOP), located in the Denver Tech Center, is a comprehensive and flexible treatment option. Additionally, the program is designed to provide adolescents with the support they need to address their mental health concerns. In addition, our IOP combines evidence-based clinical therapies, a supportive space, and a focus on the three pillars of our program:
- Continual Clinical Growth
- Family Therapy, and Coaching and
- Community Integration.
We know that seeking the right level of care is crucial for adolescents and their families. An IOP offers a structured and comprehensive treatment approach while allowing teens to continue living at home and attending school. It is an excellent alternative to residential or inpatient programs. IOP generally provides more affordability and allowing individuals to maintain their routines and support systems.
Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Programs can be used as both a step up from therapy or a step down from residential treatment or as a stand-alone treatment. In addition, IOP is able to offer a menu of services to address various mental and behavioral health conditions.
Teen IOP Program
Typically spanning 12 weeks, our Teen IOP Program offer individual and group sessions, psychoeducation, and specialized therapies to address a wide range of issues. For example, those issues include anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorder (SUD) and other mental health disorders. Once completed, we offer several step-down options as the client transitions into independence including recovery coaching sessions.
The first step of determining of an intensive outpatient program is the correct level of care is to call and schedule a complimentary assessment. During this assessment, a qualified therapist will gather information and help generate a plan. Based on assessment, should someone require a higher level of care, the treatment team at Avanti Behavioral Health will make a recommendation for a treatment program that meets the clinical needs of the client.
