Always Moving Forward
Life isn’t always linear. It is important to recognize that you can rise to challenges as they present themselves and that ignoring them won’t make them go away. Parents and teens find themselves in a critical time in the transition from child to adult. This is often compounded by mental health diagnoses such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression. It can seem hopeless and the strain on the family can feel overwhelming. In these cases, moving forward requires specialized clinical staff and dedication by the family to create an environment of success.
Avanti Behavioral Health provides a number of resources to help families in these very common cases.

Studies have demonstrated the efficacy of Motivational Interviewing (MI) in bringing significant change in a variety of behaviors, including substance use and treatment adherence in adolescents. This introductory training has been designed to equip participants with evidence-based techniques that have been shown to facilitate motivation and commitment to change, leading to improved outcomes for young people.

Intensive Outpatient Programming
Typically spanning 12 weeks, our teen IOP offers individual and group sessions, psychoeducation, and specialized therapies to address a wide range of issues. For example, those issues include anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorder (SUD), and other mental health disorders. Once completed, we offer several step-down options as the client transitions into independence including recovery coaching sessions.

Our “Always Forward” inspiration pushed us to think differently about the care we wanted to provide. We not only saw a scarcity of resources available to parents, but an opportunity to innovate and create a more comprehensive approach to a complex set of conditions.
Continual Clinical Growth
By embracing innovation and staying abreast of emerging research, therapies, and treatment techniques, we ensure that our adolescents receive the most comprehensive and cutting-edge care available.
Family Engagement
We understand that a structured and consistent environment is essential for the well-being and progress of our teens and strive to provide parents with the guidance and support they need to navigate the challenges of a complicated home environment.
Community Integration
By encouraging their active participation in community-based initiatives, volunteer work, or creative endeavors, we promote a shift from self-doubt to self-confidence.
